It is quite embarrassing when you find the mail you sent had multiple spelling mistakes. YMail actually doesn’t have in-built spell checker but it also doesn’t imply you cannot check the mistakes in any way.Luckily, several web browsers like Chrome and Firefox have their own in built spell checkers that keep checking for the errors while you type.

Checking Spellings YMail Messages:
The below explained methods are different for spell check according to the each browser. So follow the instructions according to the browser you use for accessing emails:
Chrome and Opera: For finding the ‘Spellcheck menu’, first of all right click anywhere in the text field in the message body. Just check that you have enabled ‘Check the spelling of text fields’ option. Select ‘Language settings’ for accessing the Languages screen from that menu in Chrome. Also make sure that you have selected the option of ‘Use this language for spell checking’. In that same screen, for including other spell check language packs you can use ‘Add’ switch. For adding or removing the dictionary entries you can use ‘Custom spelling dictionary’.
Mozilla Firefox: In the Firefox browser menu first go to Options> Advanced> General and then mark the box available next to ‘Check my spelling as I type’. You will see multiple language packs which you can use for Firefox after downloading if you are looking for adding a new dictionary for the Firefox browser.
Safari: Right click on the text area in the body portion of Yahoo Mail message. Ensure that in ‘Spelling and Grammar’ menu you have enabled ‘Check Spelling While Typing’ option. You can also enable it from the ‘Edit’ menu.
You can also have an option of checking for grammatical errors if you enable the ‘Check Grammar With Spelling’ option.
From the same menu if you want to change the Safari dictionary then you can select ‘Show Spelling and Grammar’ option which will check spellings or even if you want to go through each and every word to see suggestions for it.
